Long update
Hiya guys! Deng I've missed all of you though I know you didn't miss me. :þ Sorry if I became lazy updating my crib it's because of school and the absence of internet connection at home. We moved to another house and we're yet that settled. Probably next week, krzyboo might update often. For now... here's a "long" update for you to read if you are interested.
Do you know that entrance exams are such pains in my damn ass. Pimples are loving to stay on my face because I always sleep late studying. Dengness! Thank God it's all done! Haaaalleluiah! I didn't take UST because I already spent $ 200 on the two. [MAPUA and La Salle] Honestly I felt like I let that $100 flew away because from the start, I do have a strong feeling I wouldn't make it. [UPCAT] I'm lucky my dad is not expecting that much unlike some parents of my classmates... they are saying "Sayang naman iyong pera kung di ninyo maipasa." And I was like "It's not about the money. It's the experience we examinees felt while taking the exam." Oh I have to share this to you. The day I took the UPCAT, I called my dad. I'm not supposed to do that because I was planning to call someone else for this so-called "inspiration." But I think God really wanted me to talk to my father because the cell phone of the person I was supposed to call was closed. I didn't have time to wait for him to open it so I dialed my dad's number. My hands were shaking. He picked up the phone with his stupid voice without knowing his daughter felt like dying. Haha. I told him that I'm going to take the exam and I'm so super duper freakin' nervous.
"Oh nag-aral ka na ba?"
"Oo, pero kinakabahan ako eh." then I suddenly broke down.
"Ay wag ganyan! Kahit anong aral mo eh kung kinakabahan ka, walang mangyayari sa'yo. Makakalimutan mo lahat nang napag-aralan mo. Nung nag-NCEE kami dati, kahit gaano katatalino mga classmates ko pero nung kinabahan na silang lahat... ayun na-mental block."
"Eh sobrang hirap daw eh. Sayang ung pera"
"Wag mong isipin ung pera. Isipin mo exam lang yan. Ano naman kung UP? Sa Pilipinas lang yan. Isipin mo magka-Canada naman ako eh." Then I laughed.
"O sige na Pa. Paalis na kami eh."
"O sige. Good luck. Wag ka ng kakabahan ha. Bye!!!" He uttered those words with his stupid voice again.
It made me feel at ease but still I couldn't stop crying. I went inside the room then Jha hugged me. At that time, I felt like I was this 3 year old kid who's going to war without having any weapons except prayers. Yes, I've studied with my friends but to tell you the truth... not even ¼ of what we have reviewed came out. Haaayyy... I really wouldn't make it. Though I've been dying to study in U.P.
Two weeks ago, I got the results of La Salle and MAPUA. Shhhiiiiyyeeeeettttt! I don't know why on Earth was I so damn happy when I read the results of La Salle. Imagine I passed all the courses I've written on my application? AB Psychology, AB Political Science and BS Broadcast Journalism. On the other hand, MAPUA, wahahaha! I'm going to be a Chemical Engineer! Deeeennnngggg! Nine out of thirteen examinees in our school passed their MAPUA exam. Another good news is that Chem. Engineering is not the only course I am qualified. Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, ECE, Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering are some of the other courses I can take. But I'm wondering... most of my classmates have AB and BS Psychology [which I also like] and I don't. Does it mean my score is low? But most of the courses listed on mine are Engineering. Deng that's weird! Shhhiiiiyyeeeeettttt talaga pare! This is so cool! Actually I already know what would others say about the DLSU thing "duuhhh! It's just La Salle Kristine, one of the easiest entrance exams ever! It's nothing to be proud of, you know." Wahahaha... am I right?!? Haha Deng I'm good! LOL. But guess what asses...?!? Say everything you want to say because I don't freakin' care. It may be one of the easiest but at least I am already ASSURED that there are two universities/institutions I can choose from. And let me remind you that there are a lot of courses I can also take up plus the schools you are talking about are just not like some cheap-ass-school aiight?!? MAPUA and De La Salle (Dasmariñas) you bitch! In case you did not read carefully. LOL And also if you don't know anything about the schools you are criticizing... MAPUA is renowned for its Engineering courses. Their students are top notchers during board exams. The school is highly equipped with updated facilities. La Salle is one of the top three schools being recognized abroad. Specifically in Canada, United States, Australia and other European Countries. The University offers Trimester courses which make their students' burden even lighter. Hmmm... I think I have to stop now. Haha. I'm being too mean, am I?
